While searching for an easy solar “DIY kit” the only decent looking product I found I could actually use was, earth4energy. So I figured would give it a try.
What The Heck Is earth4energy
OK, so everyone knows that using alternative energy sources like solar power is the way to go. Unfortunately, solar panels are very expensive with the panels and installation costing thousands of dollars. I always wanted to be able to use solar energy, especially at my small cabin, but always thought it was out of my economic reach—then I found earth4energy. They claim that anyone can build their own solar panels for less than $200. I figured I would try it and then write an unbiased review of their product, because if earth4energy can deliver what they promise, it is truly revolutionary and something I would get really good use from.
Why Use Something Like earth4energy?
Well, the sun is always shining, whether the clouds block it from view or not. As explained in earth4energy, the energy in the sun’s rays can be transformed into electrical energy, which can be harnessed and stored. I always figured that when it was cloudy for example, solar power didn’t work, but as I learned using earth4energy that’s apparently not the case. This energy is then stored in a kind of battery known as a photovoltaic (PV) cell. These batteries can be linked to a home’s electrical system to power appliances, lights and other devices, without burning fossil fuels. earth4energy, as you might have guessed by now, also gives you a more than anticipated “Solar Power education” that you will really appreciate and hopefully don’t think it’s too detailed.
The Green earth4energy Ethics
Contrary to Eath4Energy, most of the world’s power is generated by the burning of fossil fuels like oil, coal and natural gas. They are also mostly supplied to us by people who don’t particularly like us that much and don’t seem to care about doubling fuel costs in 12 months, but that’s a different topic best left for those who actually enjoy politics, unlike me. Anyway, these fuels are convenient and easy to use, so says earth4energy but they are also very limited and as we all know, (or have been told by contemporaries of earth4energy) the supplies will eventually run out. Burning fossil fuels also produces hydrocarbon emissions, which contribute to climate change and pollution, and the cost of these fuels influences the global economy and political climate. Solar power, as told by earth4energy by contrast, is abundant, free and never runs out. Which for most of us who haven’t been living under that proverbial rock are already very aware of. Yup, anyone can use solar power with the right equipment and knowledge. This is where earth4energy apparently comes in.
earth4energy Solar Panel Installation Cost Factors
earth4energy shows us whether we use the older silicon-cell PV solar panels or newer panels that utilize thin-film technology, we are looking at an initial investment $20,000 or more. (that could be just earth4energy saying that, I don’t know)Many people take out home improvement loans to install solar panels, but they end up paying interest on them for decades, which offsets the potential savings of using solar power in the first place. earth4energy also shows/explains why people have not started using solar power because of the high up-front costs. earth4energy’s inexpensive, do-it-yourself solar panel construction idea could be the answer to this problem.
earth4energy: Too Good to be True?
earth4energy claims that anyone can build a solar panel that works as well as one purchased from a manufacturer for $200 or less. This is really hard for most people to believe, because the everyday person has no idea how PV cells are made or how much price markup there is in the manufacturing process. earth4energy explains solar panel manufacturers do not advertise their manufacturing secrets, because they do not want to have their prices undercut. The publishers of the earth4energy guide, however, say they have those secrets, and make them available to anyone who wants them.
Cost Benefits of earth4energy:
earth4energy explains installing one or more solar panel will not only lower your electric bill, it will also mean a major break in your homeowner’s insurance premium and an increase in your property value. The earth4energy long-term savings can be quite substantial. earth4energy’s assertion that anyone can build a 120-volt solar panel for less than $200 is, for many, an answered prayer. I know it was for me as I am not rich, and I’m also not a very technical person, so I was naturally skeptical that I was competent to do or try earth4energy myself. I decided that I had to test the earth4energy claims and try it for my now “powerless” cabin.
earth4energy Scams and Rip-Offs
In case your wondering, I came across earth4energy by accident while searching for ways to build my own solar panels. I was bothered by the negative impact that using fossil-fuel-powered electricity has on the environment as well as wanting to be self reliant as in not being dependent on anyone for my cabins electricity. How nice would that be! I had bought a lot of products like voltage-regulators and done a lot of other things in an effort to lower my bill and get the information I needed to get started but there was only so much I could do. On the surface, the earth4energy product seemed sort of like a scam, I mean it seems too easy and too cheap to be real! I decided to try earth4energy and post a real, honest review before and after, so people could get the truth about earth4energy.
earth4energy: The Total Package?
The earth4energy product guarantees that anyone can make their own solar panels for personal use or resale with easily available materials, earth4energy says without needing any special skills. earth4energy shows you will need the right tools and information, however. The earth4energy product promises to give users all the information they need, including introductions to solar energy, step-by-step building methods and material lists, and extras like energy calculators, guides to linking, mounting and wiring solar panels, as well as information on how to get the biggest tax deductions for using solar power. It “appears” earth4energy has some merit, so I figured I would try it.

earth4energy is a real do-it-yourself project, so don’t purchase it unless you are willing to get your hands a little dirty. Its also not possible to completely eradicate your dependence on the normal electric grid power without constructing a lot of panels, since a single 120-volt panel will not power an entire home. earth4energy shows you’ll need to build more panels and link them together if you want complete independence from the utility company. However, if you buy the earth4energy guide and find it isn’t for you, earth4energy does offer a money back guarantee, which is always nice, but if your like me, I think earth4energy is probably worth every penny.
